Maurice R. Ferré MD is a serial entrepreneur that focuses on exponential changes in themedical technology sector.

Dr. Ferre is currently the Executive Chairman of Insightec. The Company is currently developing breakthrough technology that in essence allows treatment without cutting the body. With the use of highly focused ultrasound energy, Insightec's proprietary technology allows the destruction of targets deep inside the body completely noninvasive.Already $200M has gone into developing this technology. The Company just secured an additional $59M of financing to develop and commercialize its technology.

His most recent success was MAKO Surgical Corp, As Co-Founder, Chairman, CEO and President over a period of ten years (2003- 2013), MAKO became the world leader in robotic orthopedic surgery. The World Economic Forum recognized MAKO as a Technology Innovator in 2003. The Company was ranked No.1 by Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 in 2011. MAKO grew to 500 employees and $100M+ in revenues. The company raised over $350M in capital through private and public funding (IPO in 2008 on NASDAQ: MAKO). MAKO was the first company to develop and commercialize 3D printed implants. MAKO had generated or acquired over 300+ patents. In December 2013, Stryker Corp acquired MAKO for $1.65B.

Prior to MAKO, Dr. Ferre was Founder, CEO and President of Visualization Technology Inc. (1993-2002). VTI became the world leader in image-guided surgery for ENT, cranial and orthopedic procedures. The Company was acquired by GE Healthcare in 2002.

Dr. Ferre received in Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health from Boston University in 1992. He was also the recipient of the prestigious Ernest & Young 2007 Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Dr. Moll has been called the father of robotic surgery.

Frederic H. Moll, M.D. serves as Chief Development Officer of Johnson & Johnson’s Digital Surgery Group. Prior to Johnson & Johnson, Dr. Moll was CEO of Auris Health, Inc., located in Redwood City, California. Prior to Auris, Dr. Moll founded Hansen Medical and served as the company’s first CEO, and in 1995, founded Intuitive Surgical, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISRG). Dr. Moll earned a M.D. from the University of Washington, School of Medicine, a M.S. degree in Management from Stanford University’s Sloan Program, and a B.A. degree from the University of California at Berkeley.

Chris Dewey has over 40 years of financial services experience that started on the high yield bond desk at Bear Stearns. In 2001, Chris and Mark Goldwasser started Robotic Ventures LLC, the first fund of its kind exclusively dedicated to robotics and artificial intelligence. Chris has since gone on to achieve an impressive venture track record. Of note, he was a founding board member and angel investor in Mako Surgical (acquired by Stryker for $1.65bn); founding board member and angel investor in Auris Surgical (acquired by Johnson & Johnson for $5.7bn); and he was the number 3 investor in Magic Leap. Earlier in his career, Chris was Executive Vice President at Jefferies LLC and Vice Chairman of the Board at National Securities Corp. He also co-founded Canon Films in 1965, acting as president for the first independent film studio and public company.

Mr. Matlin is the Chief Executive Officer of MatlinPatterson Global Advisers LLC, a $9 billion global private equity firm, which he co-founded in July 2002. Prior to forming MatlinPatterson, Mr. Matlin was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston and head of their Distressed Securities Group since its inception in 1994. Before joining CSFB, Mr. Matlin was Managing Director of distressed securities and a founding partner of Merrion Group, L.P..

Mr. Matlin holds a JD degree from the Law School of the University of California at Los Angeles and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
